Tremron Fence Installation: The Los Angeles Owner’s Guide
Tremron fence installation in Los Angeles typically runs $4,130 to $10,620 for a full post-and-panel replacement on a standard residential lot. We stock Tremron-compatible fence components on our trucks and can usually complete an install within one to two working days once materials are confirmed. Most Los Angeles homeowners discover they need this service when a gate post starts leaning after heavy rain, or a panel cracks at the base where sprinkler water has been hitting it for years.
We’re an independent Los Angeles contractor, not affiliated with Tremron, but we’ve worked with their concrete fence systems long enough to know exactly which parts fail first and which replacements actually hold up.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron manufactures precast concrete fence systems across several product lines, and the installation requirements differ meaningfully between them. The two you’ll most often see in Los Angeles backyards are the Tremron Estate Wall and the Tremron Privacy Fence lines. Estate Wall panels run 6 to 8 feet in height with reinforced concrete posts set on poured footings, while Privacy Fence panels are typically 5 to 6 feet and use a slotted-post design where panels slide in vertically.
The compatibility gotcha most owners hit: Tremron changed post dimensions on the Privacy Fence line around 2018. Older posts measure 4 inches by 6 inches at the slot opening, while current production uses a 5-inch by 5-inch post profile. If you’re replacing a cracked panel on a pre-2018 install, you cannot drop a new off-the-shelf panel into the old post without either shimming the slot or replacing the posts themselves. We check this measurement first on every Tremron job in Los Angeles.
For the panel itself, you want precast concrete with a minimum 5,000 PSI rating and fiber reinforcement. Tremron’s OEM panels meet this spec. Some aftermarket equivalents we’ve seen crack within two seasons because they pour at 3,500 PSI with no fiber. We use either OEM Tremron panels or aftermarket panels from a Riverside supplier that matches Tremron’s exact mix design. We don’t install anything thinner than 1.75 inches on Los Angeles fence lines.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Leaning posts at the gate line. This is the number one call we get. The gate’s swing force works the post loose over time, especially in Los Angeles clay soil that expands and contracts through wet winters and dry summers. Once a post moves more than about 4 degrees off plumb, the panel joints start chipping.
- Hairline cracks running horizontally across a panel. These usually start at ground level and climb. Sprinkler overspray keeps the concrete saturated, and once salts from the soil wick up through the panel, the internal rebar or fiber reinforcement begins to corrode. On older Tremron panels without fiber reinforcement, this progresses fast.
- Chipped or spalling edges where panels meet posts. This is a clearance problem. When posts shift even a quarter inch, panels ride against each other at the joint, and the corners grind every time the gate slams or the wind loads the run. It starts as cosmetic chipping and turns into structural cracking.
- Gate sagging or dragging on the latch side. The hardware says it all. If the hinges have been adjusted twice and it still drags, the post has lost its footing. In Los Angeles, this often follows a heavy rain season when footings that were poured too shallow finally get undermined.
- Visible footing erosion at the base of posts. Walk the line after a good rain. If you can see the top of the concrete footing cone at any post, water is cutting a channel around it. That post is now a pivot point waiting to fail.

Good work doesn’t need a sales pitch, it just needs to be done right. So we put the numbers in front of you before anyone picks up a tool.
A full Tremron fence installation in Los Angeles runs $4,130 to $10,620 depending on three things: linear footage, post replacement needs, and whether we’re reusing any of the existing concrete panels. A gate replacement with new posts typically lands in the $1,200 to $2,800 range. Panel-only replacement on an existing sound post line runs lower, around $95 to $160 per panel including labor.
Every Tremron fence quote from us includes demolition and haul-off of the failed sections, new footings poured to 24-inch depth with steel reinforcement, post installation with laser alignment, panel setting, and a written workmanship warranty. That’s the Relay Visibility Guarantee at work: a written price before work starts, photo updates during the job, and a live arrival time when our crew rolls out. Los Angeles homeowners have too much on their schedule to sit around wondering if the contractor is showing up.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: confirm which posts are out of plumb with a simple level, note whether cracks are growing by marking their ends with a pencil, and check if your gate hinges are loose. None of that requires tools beyond what’s in your kitchen drawer.
What you shouldn’t do is try to reset or replace a Tremron post on your own. A single 6-foot concrete panel weighs between 220 and 300 pounds. If a panel comes off the line while you’re handling it, you’re dealing with a crush injury or worse. Posts need to be pulled from footings that can weigh another 400 pounds. This is crane or two-man minimum work. In Los Angeles, where side yards are tight and access is often limited to a 36-inch gate opening, the handling gets dangerous fast.
If the gate post is leaning or a panel is cracked through, call us at (254) 272-5876. We’ll schedule a free estimate, get eyes on the failure, and put the exact price in writing before any work starts.
FAQs

A properly installed Tremron fence with correctly poured footings lasts 25 to 40 years in the Los Angeles climate. Panels installed without adequate footing depth or on poorly drained soil often fail within 8 to 12 years.
Hairline surface cracks can sometimes be sealed and stabilized, but any crack wider than 1/16 of an inch that runs through the full panel thickness means structural failure is underway and the panel should be replaced. Call (254) 272-5876 and we’ll tell you straight which situation you’re in.
Most Los Angeles Tremron fence replacements take one to two working days from footing pour to final panel set, with an additional day of cure time before gates are re-hung. Weather delays are rare in LA, but rain in the forecast can push a pour day.
We stock Tremron-compatible posts, panels, gate hardware, and post caps at our Los Angeles yard, so most parts are ready without a special order. If we’re matching an older panel profile, we may need two to three days to source the correct match. Call (254) 272-5876 with your measurement and we can confirm stock before we roll out.
No. The price on your written estimate is the price on your invoice. If we open up a footing and find something unexpected, we stop, call you with photos, and agree on any change order in writing before we proceed. That’s the Relay Visibility Guarantee.
