CWS Construction in Miami, CA | Sawyer Remodeling

We provide Cws service in Hialeah and across Miami, and what separates our work here is simple: we know how CWS cabinets and roof systems behave in coastal humidity and wind-driven rain, not just how they look in a showroom. We’re Sawyer Remodeling, led by Luca Romano, and we’ve been installing and repairing CWS systems in Southern California for years. If your CWS cabinets are swelling, your drawer glides are grinding, or your CWS roof fasteners have loosened after a storm, call (254) 272-5876 and we’ll give you a straight answer plus a written price before any work starts.

Why Miami Residents Choose Us for CWS Service

Most crews can hang a cabinet. Fewer know the difference between a CWS plywood-box unit and the particleboard version, or when a Greenwich door can be refaced versus when the whole run belongs in a dumpster. We’ve worked on CWS sales & service projects long enough to spot the early signs of moisture failure, salt-air corrosion on hinges, and thermofoil peeling before the homeowner notices. Luca Romano grew up watching his uncle gut and rebuild interiors weekend after weekend in Silver Lake, then went straight to LA Trade-Technical College for framing and finish carpentry. That training shows in the way we read CWS installs: not just the visible surface, but the substrate, the fastener, and the ventilation around it. We’re local to Miami, independent of any manufacturer, and we answer the phone like people who actually want your business.

Common CWS Construction Problems We Solve in Miami

  • Swollen particleboard and MDF cabinet boxes. Miami’s coastal air holds moisture year-round, and when a supply line drips or a window leaks during a storm, CWS boxes built from particleboard absorb water fast. The sides bow, doors stop closing, and the box loses structural integrity. We replace bases with CWS plywood-box units on stainless glides so the next exposure doesn’t eat the cabinet from the inside out.
  • Thermofoil and laminate door skin peeling at the edges. Kitchens without a working exhaust fan push steam straight into door edges. Over time the thermofoil lifts, curls, and looks like a bad sunburn. We re-skin or replace affected doors and address the ventilation gap so the new faces don’t fail the same way.
  • Soft-close drawer glides failing from salt-air corrosion. In condos and homes within a few blocks of the water, metal runners corrode faster than inland. A glide that once closed with a nudge starts grinding, then seizes. We stock OEM CWS glides and swap them before the drawer box itself gets damaged from being yanked.
  • Loose CWS roof panel fasteners after wind events. Miami sees real wind, and exposed roof panels take uplift stress that works fasteners loose over time. We re-secure, replace corroded hardware, and check the surrounding flashing so the next big blow doesn’t turn a loose panel into a missing one.
  • CWS vanity and bath storage lines swelling in high-humidity bathrooms. Small bathrooms without proper ventilation trap steam. The MDF vanity bases around CWS bath lines are especially vulnerable. We replace with moisture-resistant substrate and CWS plywood-box alternatives, then set the top so future leaks show themselves before they reach the cabinet core.

CWS Service in Miami: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Miami-Dade’s post-1994 High-Velocity Hurricane Zone code changes what a proper CWS install looks like here. Cabinets and bath storage in Miami need corrosion-resistant fasteners and moisture-resistant substrates that would be overkill in most other U.S. markets. That’s not us being fussy, it’s the code, and it exists because salt air and storm-driven water intrusion are facts of life near the coast. In a 1970s ranch house off Coral Way, we pulled out a CWS Greenwich cabinet run whose MDF boxes had swollen from a slow supply-line drip. We replaced the bases with plywood-box CWS units on stainless glides, then set a Cambria quartz top and a glass backsplash so the next leak would be visible before it reached the cabinet cores. That’s the difference between a patch job and a repair that holds in Miami’s climate.

CWS Models & Products We Service in Miami

We work on CWS Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) Shaker-style kitchen cabinets, the Greenwich and Concord door collections, the plywood-box series with soft-close hinges, and CWS vanity and bath storage lines. When a cabinet system is still in its original configuration, we use OEM CWS hinges, glides, and trim to keep everything matching and functioning as designed. If OEM lead times would leave a kitchen torn apart for weeks, we’ll tell you honestly and offer quality aftermarket hardware only when it makes sense, and only with your approval. We’ll also tell you when a CWS box is still sound enough to reface versus when full replacement is the smarter long-term spend in Miami’s moisture-heavy air.
