Tremron Construction in Ontario, CA | Sawyer Remodeling
We install, repair, and re-level Tremron paver patios, driveways, and retaining walls across Ontario. The short version: if your Tremron hardscape is sinking, rocking, or blooming white, the problem is almost always the base and joint sand under it, not the paver itself. Ontario’s expansive clay soil and hard water punish thin base prep more than any paver model ever will. Call (254) 272-5876 and we’ll come look at it.
Why Ontario Residents Choose Us for Tremron Service
We’re not a manufacturer rep and we don’t pretend to be. Sawyer Remodeling is an independent Tremron service provider, and that independence means we fix what’s actually failing on your property instead of steering you toward whatever a factory program pushes. Our crew has installed and repaired Tremron hardscape systems across Ontario and the Inland Empire for years, from the Historic Downtown area to Rancho Cucamonga Tremron service calls and the newer tracts off the 60. We know Tremron’s paver lines, color families, and regional distributors well enough to match existing courses and diagnose why a patio or walkway failed. Luca Romano, our owner, has been swinging tools in Southern California for over two decades, and he still walks every Ontario job himself before we quote it. Good work doesn’t need a sales pitch – it just needs to be done right.

Common Tremron Construction Problems We Solve in Ontario
- Settling and heaving patios. Ontario sits on expansive clay that swells in winter rain and shrinks in summer heat. If the base wasn’t compacted to account for that movement, Tremron pavers start rocking within a season or two. We re-grade, re-compact, and re-set the course so it stops moving.
- Efflorescence, that white chalky film. Ontario’s water is hard, heavy with minerals, and irrigation overspray carries those minerals right onto paver surfaces. When water evaporates, it leaves calcium deposits behind. The fix is a proper cleaning and, often, a joint sand re-sweep plus drainage correction so water stops pooling in the first place.
- Edge spalling on driveways. The combination of clay soil movement and direct Inland Empire UV cycling makes paver edges chip and crack along driveway borders. We see it most on older installs where the edge restraint wasn’t set deep enough. We pull the edge course, reset restraint, and replace only what’s broken.
- Faded, chalky color in older runs. Years of direct sun on Tremron Olde Towne lines leaves them looking washed out. The paver isn’t failing; the surface has oxidized. We can often restore and seal, or match a partial replacement with the current color batch from Tremron’s regional distributors.
- Joint sand loss and weed growth. Santa Ana winds blow loose sand out of paver joints through the fall, then winter rain washes out what’s left. We re-sweep with polymeric sand that binds and locks, and we’ll correct the drainage slope so water doesn’t channel through the joints.
Tremron Service in Ontario: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Here’s the thing nobody tells you when you’re shopping pavers in Ontario: your hardscape will fail at the base and joint sand long before the paver itself wears out. Ontario sits on expansive clay soils and gets intense inland heat and wind. That clay expands when winter rain soaks in and contracts hard during the dry Santa Ana months. A paver sitting on a poorly compacted base over that soil will heave, settle, and shift. A Tremron Stonehurst paver can last decades; the four inches of road base under it might not survive one wet season if it was laid thin. We’ve pulled up settled patios in the older tracts near downtown Ontario where the base was barely two inches of loose material over raw clay, and the pavers were rocking like loose teeth. The paver was fine. The prep wasn’t. When we quote any Tremron job in Ontario, the first thing we talk about is what’s under the paver and where General Contractor in Ontario expertise matters most: proper base prep.e water goes. Everything else follows from that.
In the older tracts near downtown Ontario, our tech pulled up a settled Tremron Stonehurst patio where the base had been laid too thin over clay and the pavers were rocking with efflorescence on the surface. We re-compacted and re-graded the base, added drainage, re-set the Tremron Stonehurst course, and re-swept polymeric sand so the patio drained away from the house instead of pooling at the slab. This kind of Ontario Bathroom Remodeling-level attention to drainage detail is what keeps hardscapes lasting.
Tremron Models & Products We Service in Ontario
We work on the full Tremron lineup that’s common in Ontario backyards and driveways: Stonehurst Pavers, Olde Towne Pavers, Plaza Series Pavers, and the Mega Olde Towne Wall blocks. When we repair, we source genuine Tremron pavers, caps, and polymeric joint sand through regional distributors so the patch blends into the existing course. For base and drainage materials where the original spec was the weak point, we use quality aftermarket options that actually hold up under Ontario’s clay. If you need paver patio installation, paver driveway installation, or a concrete driveway installed from scratch, we handle that too. More detail on our Tremron sales & service work is covered there.

AfterTremron Service Pricing in Ontario

Here are the ranges we quote for Ontario work. These aren’t Internet averages; they’re what we see on actual jobs in this city based on base prep, drainage correction, and the paver course itself.
| Service | Typical Ontario Price Range |
|---|---|
| Paver Driveway Installation | $7,000 – $18,000 |
| Concrete Driveway Installation | $4,500 – $12,000 |
| Paver Patio Installation | $3,500 – $11,000 |
What moves the number is what’s under the paver. A straight re-level where the base is still sound costs less. A full tear-out, new base, drainage, and re-set costs more. Your free estimate from us includes a written line-item price before any work starts, and that’s the number you approve. Call (254) 272-5876 and we’ll schedule it.

FAQs – Tremron Construction in Ontario
Yes, in most cases. We source genuine Tremron pavers through regional distributors, so we match the line and the current color batch as closely as possible. If your run is older and faded, we’ll show you what a fresh paver looks like against the existing course before we commit to anything. Call (254) 272-5876 for a match assessment.
The base under your pavers wasn’t compacted for Ontario’s expansive clay soil, and now it’s shifting as the ground shrinks and swells through the seasons. A paver only performs as well as what’s underneath it. We’ll pull the affected area, re-grade and re-compact the base, and re-set the course so it stops moving. Get a free look at it by calling (254) 272-5876.
That’s efflorescence, mineral deposits left behind when Ontario’s hard irrigation water evaporates off the paver surface. It doesn’t mean your pavers are failing. We clean it off, correct the drainage or overspray that’s feeding it, and re-sweep joint sand where needed. Call (254) 272-5876 and we’ll tell you if it’s a surface issue or a drainage issue underneath.
If more than about 30 percent of the patio has failed, we’ll tell you straight that a new base and course usually beats patching. Below that threshold, spot repairs with genuine Tremron pavers can blend and hold for years. Either way, you get a straight answer and a written price before anything starts. Call (254) 272-5876.
We slope the base away from your house, add permeable base depth for clay soil, and make sure downspouts and irrigation aren’t dumping water onto the paver course. Ontario’s soil holds water, and standing water under pavers is what causes most of the failure we see. Every free estimate includes drainage review. Call (254) 272-5876 to schedule.
